Stainless steel appliances and accessories are gaining more and more popularity in our households for their noble and elegant appearance. However, they are prone to fingerprints easily sticking to them and to creating various smudges and indelible traces of spilled liquids. Most stainless steel appliances are also oiled from the factory, therefore dust and various impurities adhere to them very quickly, not easy to remove from brushed stainless steel. Chrome taps and other equipment made of non-ferrous metals are very quickly exposed to limescale and other chemicals leaving traces on the objects that are difficult to remove, begin to oxidize, change their appearance and in most cases, it is a superhuman task to clean them without aggressive methods.

Nano Protect Stainless protective polish is specially developed for products and equipment made of stainless steel and other metals such as chrome, copper, brass, etc. It creates an invisible layer on the treated surfaces, which reduces the adhesion of dirt and maintenance of such treated surfaces is very quick and easy. Protected areas have excellent resistance to damage and to formation of limescale or other sediment (eg taps, water spouts for swimming pools, etc.). Even the organic residues do not damage the treated surface and for some time the layer also resists the action of aggressive substances, such as various acids, etc. Thanks to the smoothing of the surface, there is no growth and multiplication of bacteria, thererfore e.g. kitchen appliances thus acquire naturally antibacterial properties. Fingerprints adhere much less to the surfaces, and if they do, they can be removed with a single swipe of a cloth. How does the protection polish smooth the stainless steel surface?

Package content and consumption

The package contains 50 ml of Nano Protect Stainless. This is sufficient amount for 8 - 16 m2. For final polishing it is necessary to use it together with product Nano Degreaser & Polisher.

Nanocosmetics Application

Applying the products is not complicated at all. You only need to follow four steps. First, the surface must be thoroughly cleaned and degreased. Then apply a protective polish and leave on for 5 minutes to work and polish with a soft cloth. Always read carefully the attached instructions.

Surface maintenance after application

Surfaces treated with Pikatec nanocosmetics are smoother, much more resistant to damage and for their maintenance just a dry or moistened microfiber cloth is sufficient. With just that you will be able to wipe off all dirt easily, the treated surfaces will always look like new and you will not need any other harmful chemicals to clean them. How to clean properly?

Instructions for use

Surface preparation: Before application, it is necessary to remove all impurities and grease from the treated surface otherwise it could cause a limited function and shorten the durability of the protection polish. Check if there are no traces of water drops or other stains on the glass-ceramic item. These need to be removed before application, otherwise you would "conserve" them in the protective layer and it would be very difficult to get rid of them afterwards. Always perform the final cleaning / degreasing of the glass-ceramic item with  help of the Nano Degrease & Polisher (formerly Nano Clear Glass) sprayed lightly, preferably on microfibre cloth at best, which you gently rub the stainless steel surface with.

Application: Shake the product well before use and also frequently during the application. Using a pump, spray only one dose of protective polish on the application cloth or, for larger areas, on the application pad. If we treat smooth shiny surfaces, we apply a continuous and very thin film of the product to the surface using circular movements. When treating brushed stainless steel, we apply the product always in the direction of grinding (not in a circular motion!) Try not to apply the product over the already covered area, as this would increase the laboriousness and difficulty of both application and subsequent polishing. You don't have to worry - we're in a nano environment and one layer (one swipe on the surface with an application cloth) is perfectly sufficient for surface treatment. Once the cloth no longer leaves a thin layer on the surface, add another drop of protective polish to it and continue working. After covering the whole area, let the polish harden for 5 minutes. 

After 5 minutes, start polishing the surface with a microfibre cloth, lightly sprayed with the Nano Degreaser & Polisher. For ground stainless steel, again in the grinding direction. Do not press too hard on the cloth - if you start to feel the more effort is needed than before, add little amount of the Degreaser & Polisher on the cloth and continue working until complete polishing and shine . As the cloth absorbs excess polish, it is advisable to keep folding it and turning it at the time it starts to leave smudges on the polished surface.

One to two weeks after application, the surface must be hand-washed with warm water again and, after drying, cleaned with a cloth, lightly sprayed with Nano Degreaser & Polisher. This removes greases which the protective polish additionally removes from the surface (so-called emulsifiers) and which limit the water-repellent effect until fully removed.

Additional information:

• The protective polish cannot be removed from the surface using a common cleaning chemicals. If the water-repellent properties are locally reduced, for example when greasing the surface, or by covering the nanolayer with soap residues, etc., the area must be thoroughly washed with warm water and, if necessary, the affected area also degreased. The water-repellent effect is then renewed again.
• Manufacturers of stainless steel equipment treat their products with special oils, which ensure a nice appearance and at the same time cover possible manufacturing defects. Because we have to degrease the surface completely before applying the nano product, it can happen that stains and maps appear on the surface of the stainless steel surface after degreasing, and they could become even more noticeable after application. We therefore recommend that you thoroughly inspect the surfaces after degreasing and, if all is well, test the application of the protective polish in a less visible place. If you already detect the presence of smudges and stains during degreasing, we recommend cleaning the surface with a product  Nano Clean Surface  before application and check again. If everything is in order, try the application again in a less visible place and only then apply on the entire area.
• Use the polish immediately after opening the bottle.
